AFC Bournemouth's unbeaten run came to an end as Wigan Athletic narrowly defeated the Cherries in the FA Cup third round replay at The Goldsands Stadium.

Mauro Boselli's first-half strike was enough to send the Latics through to the fourth round.

Bournemouth held their own, hitting the woodwork twice - but couldn't find a way to force extra time.

Harry Arter dwelled on the ball - allowing Boselli to storm through and hit a high shot past Cherries goalkeeper Shwan Jalal.
