A late strike from Andy Williams denied AFC Bournemouth an impressive win against Swindon Town at The Goldsands Stadium.

Despite soggy conditions, the Cherries extended their unbeaten record to 18-games - matching a club record.

The game was played through heavy rain, and the fixture survived a half time pitch inspection.

Harry Arter's impressive strike from 20 yards gave the home side the lead mind-way through the first half.

However, The Robins fought back strong and James Collins missed a golden opportunity to draw level.

David James did well to save from Matt Ritchie and Chris Martin - before the visitors finally drew level five minutes from time.

James rushed out of his area to clear the danger, but the ball fell to Williams who placed the ball into the empty net.

Swindon nearly stole all three points when Martin's deflected free-kick narrowly missed the target.

AFC Bournemouth are in seventh place in League One, level with MK Dons on 43 points.
