The local brand Beatons Tearooms will be opening another tearoom in Chester as part of owner Patrick Duffy’s plans to expand the business.
Steve Roberts and Elaine Ashcroft, a local couple in Chester, have decided to have a career change and manage the new Beatons tearooms in Chester.
Owner of Beatons, Patrick Duffy, said: “Steve and Elaine are passionate, enthusiastic and keen to see Beatons become a valued part of the local community.
“We look forward to helping them launch later this year.
"Chester’s architectural grace and long term investment in developing the city makes
it a very attractive location that I’m sure Cecil Beaton – after whom we’re named – would approve."
Beatons’ first tearooms opened four years ago in Tisbury, Wiltshire, near to where photographer Cecil Beaton lived.
Beatons offers an alternative to fast paced barista coffee shops with combining books, table service, homemade cakes, 25 loose leaf teas and regional coffee blends.
Beatons continue to seek franchisees in other areas and offer full training and a support package included in the price.
