Bournemouth Lions coach David Dunn hopes his side can put a frustrating few weeks behind them when they take on Dings Crusaders this afternoon in a 'must-win game.'

The Dorset side have not won in National League Two South since December 15, when they recorded an impressive away win at Barking.

Since then, the Lions have had two games postponed, one game abandoned and lost two games.

This afternoon's game is likely to go ahead despite more heavy rain.

"It's been a really frustrating time" explained Lions Director of Rugby David Dunn.

"The players want to get out there, and not knowing whether or not they are going to play does their routine no good."

Today's opponents easily swept aside Bournemouth in October in difficult conditions, with Dunn expecting the Lions to bounce back this afternoon.

"I expect to see them play with passion and determination" added Dunn.

"It's a must-win game really for us. Everyone can beat anyone in this league, and it's important we can pick up points against the teams around us in the table."

A bonus-point win for The Lions would put them level on points with Dings on 35 points, with the Dorset side having a game in hand.

Ben Stevenson will return to the side today, boosting Bournemouth's chances of picking up a fifth home win of the season.

Tommy Booth has recovered from a rib injury as the Lions hope to move away from the drop zone.
