A Bournemouth woman was sexually attacked after being grabbed from behind in a town centre subway.
A 20-year-old woman was walking home in the subway under St Paul's roundabout when she was unexpectedly grabbed from behind and attacked by an unknown man.
The incident took place at around 1:30am on Friday February 1 - with police calling for witnesses to come forward.
Luckily, the vicitm escaped without being seriously injured.
Detectibe Inspector Becky Riggs of Bournemouth CID said: "This unprovoked attack has left the vicitm very shaken and frightened.
"The victim has described the offender as a white man, around five feet nine inches tall, of proportionate build, and aged between 30 and 35.
"Witnesses and anyone with information are asked to contact police as soon as possible in the strictest confidence."
No one has been arrested as police continue their investigation.
