AFC Bournemouth slipped out of the League One playoff spots after a goalless draw against Brentford.

The Cherries extended their unbeaten run to sixteen games - and are level on 42 points with both Swindon Town and the MK Dons.

Eddie Howe's side struggled to break down a stubborn Bees defence at Griffin Park.

The home side will feel they could have grabbed all three points after Tommy Elphick's clumsy challenge on Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson saw late penalty appeals turned down.
