The star lots were an ornate bracket clock by Alfred Pegler of Southampton selling to a room bidder for £1,850 and a Birch and Gaydon alarm carriage clock with French movement selling to a telephone bidder for £920 plus premium.
The specialist train section was also well attended with Graham Farish trains selling well in the room and on the internet with a single collection selling for in excess of £3,000.
