Autism Wessex is delighted to announce its charity golf day will be held at the exclusive golf club, Remedy Oak this year on 1st July 2014.
The day will welcome eighty golfers from corporate companies across Dorset and West Hampshire and offers attendees the ideal opportunity to raise vital funds for charity whilst enjoying a prestigious corporate day out.
Kim Darbyshire, Corporate Partnerships Officer comments; “We are appealing to the local business community to attend this event as well as interested corporates to sponsor the day. We are fortunate to have Saffrey Champness as our headline sponsor but would still encourage anyone interested in sponsoring prizes to get in touch. For those wanting to play this prestigious course this event offers a wonderful opportunity to play this world famous golf course in a secluded and tranquil environment. The luxurious golf house will provide refreshments throughout the day concluding with a dining experience in the evening. Please come and join us and help us make a difference to those in our community affected by autism.”
Children with autism become adults with autism. Autism is a lifelong and invisible condition. While there is no cure, Autism Wessex believe that with appropriate education, support or care and by making the world an easier place to understand, the impact of autism can be reduced and people with autism can be active citizens enjoying maximum independence and a good quality of life.
This event represents a great opportunity for local businesses to support a regional charity, make a real difference and enjoy a prestigious day out.
