Local entrepreneur Jack Romero, who fled Beirut during the civil war with just £90 to his name, but went on to found and then sell his own airline - British Mediterranean Airways - for £30 million, is hosting a business seminar next month.
Mr Romero will talk about how to survive economic challenges and to thrive at an event which takes place at Talbot Heath School from 8.45am-12.45pm on Thursday 13th March.
A limited number of businesses will have the opportunity to have a five minute one-to-one meeting with Mr Romero.
One hundred per cent of donations - the suggested amount is £15 - will got to Jack’s social enterprise, The Turnaround Trust, which supports businesses and entrepreneurs who are in need of inspiration, support and mentoring.
