Dorchester Town secured a valuable point against Havant and Waterlooville in difficult conditions at The Avenue Stadium.

A stern defensive display from the Magpies frustrated the Hampshire side's leading talisman Ollie Palmer, who couldn't add to the 14 goals he has already scored this season.

The highly regarded striker couldn't break into the game and his only real chance came from a corner, but the striker headed over.

Dorchester could have snatched all three points, but Ben Watson could only send a shot straight at Hawks goalkeeper Clark Masters after being played through by Ashley Nicholls.
