Dorchester Town moved out of the Blue Square South drop zone as Charlie Clough's equaliser rescued a point against fellow strugglers Basingstoke Town.
The Hampshire side took the lead after seven minutes when Stuart Lake opened the scoring.
Basingstoke doubled their lead two minutes later when Simon Dunn hit a shot past Jason Matthews - with the ball going in off the crossbar.
The Magpies grabbed an important lifeline just before the half hour mark, when Sam Malsom scored after he fired an earlier effort straight at Basingstoke goalkeeper Ashley Bayes.
Malsom came close to adding a second Dorchester goal, but the Magpies went in a half time trailing by a goal.
The Dorset side struggled to get hold of the game after the break, with conditions making for a scrappy contest.
The Magpies finally drew level mid-way through the second period when Clough powered home a headed effort after a good cross from Ben Watson.
Clough was unlucky not to seal all three points for Dorchester, but his effort was denied by Robbie Rice.
Both sides were forced to settle for a draw - with the Magpies now in 18th place in the Blue Square South, level on 29 points with Maidenhead United and Hornchurch.
