Dorset will remain dry today following two days of wind, rain and flooding.

Dorchester endured heavy rain last night, and this morning a car has broken down amid flooding on the West Stafford Bypass at the A352 junction.

The Lower Frome has largely escaped the severe flooding that has been seen in Somerset, but there is still some standing water near Grimstone - while roads near Muckleford and Wrackleford may be inaccessible.

This morning, the Environment Agency has removed flood warnings on the Upper Frome, rivers and streams around Weymouth and Purbeck rivers and streams.

A flood warning is still in place on the Lower Stour between Sturminster Newton and Christchurch.

More wet weather is expected to hit Dorset over the weekend.
