ELLINGHAM and Ringwood got their league campaign back on track with a thumping win against their London opponents.

Four tries from Dominic Pitt, along with two apiece from Ali Bennett, Dan Stewart and Ben Warren helped the New Forest side on their way to their biggest points haul of the season so far.

Ellingham were looking to restore some confidence after losing two out of their last three games in London Three South West.

Charlie Cockram, Laurence Ellis, Will Hill, Phil Osman and Joe Tarrant also went over for tries as the New Forest side dominated from start to finish.

Speaking after the game, Ellingham coach Phil Osman said: "It was important to regain momentum after last week's narrow defeat to league leaders Farnham.

"It was good to see the experienced Andy Turner back in action and I was very impressed by the performances of our two youngsters Will Hill and Ryan Sellwood – who both had strong debuts."

Ellingham travel to sixth-placed Sandown and Shanklin on Saturday as they look for their fourth away win of the season.
