Gillingham coffee morning boost for SDH All Stars Appeal and Joseph Weld Hospice

Coffee and cakes served with smiles in Gillingham added up to a generous helping of cash for two charities.

Jeanette Haskett raised £550 with her event at Gillingham Town Football Club in aid of Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal and the Joseph Weld Hospice at Dorchester.

With the help of family and friends she has held a fundraising coffee morning annually for several years for the Stars Appeal.

This year Jeanette, who has been successfully treated for cancer, decided to share the proceeds with the hospice charity.
