It was half an hour into the show before super model Naomi Campbell made her appearance.

Would she live up to her reputation as a diva who was difficult to work with?

Undoubtedly she has kept many people waiting in the past, and this audience wasn’t to be any different.

However, there was more than enough merry banter and entertainment from those ‘sweeties’ Ant and Dec, the dashing Jamie Dornan, soon to be seen in Fifty Shades of Grey, and Aaron Paul who plays Jessie in the TV cult show Breaking Bad.

We didn’t get a lot of chat from the presenting duo who have just notched up their 13th award for best TV presenters, but they interjected merrily and generally joined in other conversations.

Graham focused on Jamie’s walk, as he walks on his toes, in a springy manner. However, The Fall actor took it all in good part and even demonstrated a revised stride.

If a performer had a less than auspicious start to their career you can guarantee that a clip will be dug out for this show.

Aaron Paul, whose new film Need for Speed comes out this month, made an appearance on the American show Price is Right in which, high on energy drinks he was literally bouncing off the walls.

And then to much applause Naomi made her appearance, with looks that certainly belie her 43 years.

Graham wasn’t going to shy away from the controversy surrounding the model talent show The Face, in which she has been described as a diva who forbade staff to speak unless they were spoken to.

All untrue she said.

And what about reports that she taped back her face?

“No I use the tape for my boobs,” she declared, adding she didn’t know how to use tape for the face. Hmm.

Graham wasn’t going to leave it there, telling her she could appear to be intimidating.

Brave man. However, with his winsome ways Graham can get away with anything.

The show finished with Ellie Goulding, fresh from the Brit Awards where she won Best British Female.

Friday evenings won’t be quite the same for the next few weeks as the show is taking a break.

But good news - it will be back on 4th April with Cameron Diaz, Russell Crowe and Kylie Minogue.
