Health talk examines medical scans

ALMOST 150 people attended a talk on understanding radiology scans given by Dr Paula McAlinden and Dr Andy Pope, consultant radiologists at The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The next Understanding Health talk will focus on dementia and will be given by consultant in geriatric medicine Dr Sue Hazel on Thursday 5 December. The talk is free and will take place at 11am at the Village Hotel. Booking is essential; call 01202 704271 or email events@rbch.nhs.uk providing your name, how many places you would like to reserve and your telephone number.

Additionally, a health talk organised by RBCH governors and focusing on the self-management of asthma, will take place at 2pm in St Mark’s Church Hall, Talbot Village on Tuesday 5th November.
