GP practices in North Dorset are inviting people to help shape future healthcare in their community by joining their local patient group in person or virtually.
Keith Harrison, patient & public involvement development worker in North Dorset said: “Every patient registered at a practice is eligible to be involved as a member of their patient group, and hearing their experiences and opinions is very important when it comes to developing services.
“We are, however, fully aware that some people may want to have their say, but cannot attend meetings.
“It is these people we are hoping to attract to virtual groups: virtual means the group does not meet in person, but members are sent information and asked to give views and opinions via email or by post.”
Anyone interested in getting involved should contact their local GP surgery or Keith Harrison by phoning 07825 691508 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
