Henstridge Cricket Club celebrates their title-winning season with a special match against a chairman’s select XI.

Funding was raised for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance as current and former players, including four of the founding members from the mid-1970s, took part in the special event.

The current Henstrige side took victory by 28 runs after racking up 252 from 39 overs. Mark Mitchell reached 52 not out, while Ben Fryer and Owen Williams helped their side on their way. Paul Travers, Henry Cheal, Toby Sharpe and Jon Fryer kept the chairman’s XI in contention but they fell 28 runs short.
