The boy who struggled up Shaftesbury's Gold Hill with a baker's bike in the iconic Hovis advert is in the town today to switch on the Christmas lights.
However, he couldn't resist reliving his part in the advert and relived pushing the bike up Gold Hill, complete with flat cap and Hovis loaves.
The then 13-year-old boy, Carl Barlow, who starred in Ridley Scott's advert went on to become a fire-fighter based in Islington: "I rememebr Ridley Scott was very particular about everything, with real attention to detail - even a door knob half way down the hill had to be prefect."
Carl will also plant some snowdrops in the town this afternoon, before switching the Christmas lights on later this evening.
