Wimborne Town’s unbeaten start to the season was ended by Leroy Odiero’s late goal – as Cinderford Town grabbed three points at the Causeway Ground.
The hosts opened the scoring inside the first minute when Joe Donaghue took advantage of a poor Magpies back pass - but James Stokoe levelled 11 minutes before the interval with his first goal of the season.
Deep into stoppage time, Odiero found the net with a free kick to steal all three points, his side’s first victory of the season.
“We got what we deserved” explained Magpies boss Steve Cuss’s
“It’s a kick in the teeth when you concede in the last minute, but we put in a below par performance and too many players had an off-day.”
The Magpies will hope to bounce back when they visit local rivals Bashley on bank holiday Monday.
