Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries in Poole hit and run

A MAN suffered life-threatening injuries after a hit and run in Poole.

Officers were called to the junction of Darby’s Lane and Heath Avenue in Oakdale at around 7:30pm yesterday.

A pedestrian had collided with a vehicle which did not stop. The victim was taken to hospital and remains in a serious condition.

Chief Inspector Tracey Baker said: “Police are urging the driver of that vehicle to come forward.

“We are also urgently trying to locate any witnesses to the collision.”

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101.
