Police release e-fit image after woman indecently touched during Poole rush hour

Police are looking for this man who indecently assaulted a woman in Poole

Police have released an e-fit image after a woman was indecently assaulted during the rush hour along a busy Poole road.

Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses after a 26-year-old Christchurch woman was assaulted at around 8:30am on Monday February 4 along Commercial Road - near the Civic Centre crossing , leading to North Road.

The victim was inappropriately touched by an unknown man and luckily did not sustain any injuries.

Police Constable Deborah Day of Poole Police said: "This was a frightening incident for the victim and I am now able to release an e-fit of a man I am keen to speak with.

"Due to the time of day there would have been a high volume of traffic in the area and I am hoping that somebody witnessed the incident or has information about the offender.

"He is described as a white man of slim build, around five feet eight inches tall with short brown hair.

"He was wearing blue jeans and a jacket with the hood pulled up."

Witnesses and anyone with any information should call Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 04:93.
