Dorchester Town have signed Litchenstein international goalkeeper Benjamin Büchel ahead of their Blue Square South game with Basingstoke Town.

The Magpies are searching for their third straight win after impressive victories over Bath City and Salisbury City.

Dorchester faced this afternoon's opponents earlier this month, with the two sides sharing a 2-2 draw at The Avenue Stadium.

Basingstoke are eight places below the Dorset side in The Blue Square South table, but only four points behind the Magpies - who currently sit in tenth place.

Delano Sam-Yorke and Tim Sills have been in impressive goalscoring form for the Hampshire side this season, and Dorchester's defense will have to be at their best to carry on their impressive form.

Büchel has signed on an initial one month loan deal from AFC Bournemouth. The 23-year-old made his international debut in 2008 and will compete with Jason Matthews for a spot in the Magpies starting eleven.
