A father and daughter stranded in a dinghy off the Dorset coast were rescued by lifeboatmen today.
Their boat had drifted into Swanage Bay as the tide went out at 12.45pm.
A spokesman for Swanage RNLI said the pair had checked the forecast and tides but an unexpected lack of wind left them floating helplessly towards Durlston Point.
The town's inshore lifeboat towed the dinghy back to the sailing club beach.
