Relate Dorset and South Wiltshire held a celebratory lunch to congratulate trustee Mrs Georgie Harries on reaching her 90th birthday.

Emily Stafford, Relate Dorset and South Wiltshire’s youngest trustee, presented her senior counterpart with flowers, gifts and a cake from the organisation in recognition of Georgie’s many years of support and service.

“Relate has changed a lot over the years that Georgie has been involved and many people might not realise the broad range of services we offer locally, such as counselling for children and young people/ family counselling etc. Georgie remains on the board as our compassion monitor, making sure we remember our core aim of supporting people who are struggling with their relationships.

Relationships are just as important to us now as they were when Georgie first joined Relate– they get us through good times and bad.”
