June offers a rare chance to explore some of Sherborne’s private gardens.
The Rotary Club of Sherborne Castles is holding "Hidden Gardens of Sherborne" on Saturday 7th June and Sunday 8th June from 2-5pm each day.
More than 20 owners have agreed to open their private gardens to the public over the weekend.
The main charities to benefit from the proceeds will be the Friends of Yeatman and the local branch of Marie Curie Cancer Care. The event is being sponsored by the Gardens Group so that more of the proceeds can go to charity.
Weekend Tickets at £8 for all the gardens will be available in advance and on the day from Rotary club members, Castle Gardens and the Tourist Information Centre in Sherborne. Individual garden entry will be £1.50 on the day for any one who wants only to visit one or two gardens.
