A COMMERCIAL property consultant has sold ten units on a major business park in Somerset.

Philip Holford, a partner at Myddelton and Major, said the series of deals showed that the economy was on the way up.

The Salisbury-based consultancy acted as agent in separate deals at the Commerce Park at Frome.

The modern units are a mixture of industrial and warehouse premises, covering a total of 13,000 square feet on the popular business park.

Mr Holford said: “Owner-occupiers who have bought their own units now have the security to grow and prosper, while the number of units bought as investments shows that confidence is returning to the market.”

Asking prices ranged from £95,000 to £410,000 for the units.

They were sold freehold with three going to owner-occupiers and seven as investments with tenants continuing in the premises.
