SALISBURY Cathedral’s Refectory restaurant is running several special offers in the lead up to Christmas. There will be special festive dinners, traditional turkey roast lunches, and light refreshment deals throughout November and December.

Advent and Christmas Procession queue warmers are available in the cloisters. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served from 4.30pm before the spectacular 7pm Advent Procession ‘From Darkness to Light’ on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November, or from 2.30pm on Sunday 1st December when coffee will also be served before the 5pm procession.

Refreshments are also offered before the Cathedral’s carol services on Saturday 21st December from 4.30pm (service begins 7pm) and Sunday 22nd December from 2.30pm (service begins at 5pm).

Advent and Christmas suppers are also available on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November and Saturday 21st December immediately after these services.

Refectory Christmas lunches of traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings are offered every day from Monday 9th December until Christmas Eve.

The Refectory Restaurant is open every day except Christmas Day, Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm and 9.30am to 5pm on Sundays. It offers a self-service buffet selection of homemade cakes and pastries all day, fair trade coffee, fresh leaf tea, homemade soup and hot lunches, freshly made sandwiches and cream teas. Families with young children are always welcome with a special ‘monster bag’ selection menu for younger children.
