Salisbury edged back to the top of the Blue Square Bet South after title-rivals Welling lost at Weston.

Welling still have two games in hand, so the Whites have plenty of work ahead having lost a two-goal lead at Havant and Waterlooville.

Dan Fitchett put Salisbury two goals up with a brace in the opening 15 minutes of the second half.

Ryan Perry pulled back a goal by stabbing home from close range and then levelled with a looping header.
