Christchurch will welcome Santa Claus next month as Christmas celebrations get up and running.
The Christchurch Christmas Festival, which takes place on Saturday December 1 will welcome Santa to the Dorset town - and will include a Christmas Street Market.
Santa will arrive with his reindeer at Reid Street at 4pm, before making his way down Bargate, arriving at the High Street for the switch-on of the Christmas lights at 4.30pm.
Father Christmas will then take his reindeer to the Priory Church, where children can hand over their Christmas letters and pet the reindeer.
The High Street will be closed to traffic from 10am to 7pm, with a range of food, drink and gifts on offer, while Santa hats will be handed out to help get people into the Christmas spirit.
The Christchurch Community Partnership will provide entertainment in Saxon Square, with performances from a range of acts.
