Fullers Earth at Cattistock has received an Old Favourites Award in the annual Sawday’s B&B Awards.
The 19th edition of Sawday’s Special Places to Stay British Bed & Breakfast puts Fullers Earth among 12 award winners.
It features 638 handpicked B&Bs with winners in four categories.
Fullers Earth’s place in the prestigious awards delighted owners Wendy and Ian Gregory.
Ian said: “We were incredibly excited to win an Alistair Sawday Award.
“It’s such a great end to our first decade of running a B&B which we believe must be among the best in Dorset.”
The entry in the guide praises Fullers Earth for its flowers and white linen, lovely sitting room, roomy bedrooms with comfortable beds and its views.
There was also praise for the breakfasts and for “friendly Ian and Wendy who will plan great walks with you in the AONB” and the nearby Jurassic Coast.
The new edition of Sawdays is out now.
