BAND Of Friends play at the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne tonight (Friday). This band is not a tribute to Rory Gallagher, more a celebration of his life and music and consists of musicians who played with him throughout his career. Gerry McAvoy (bass) played with Rory for 20 years and played on every album Rory ever made. Ted McKenna (drums) played with Rory from 1977 to 1981 and Marcel Scherpenzeel (guitar) and grew up with Rory's music. For more details call the box office on 01202 885566.
