AFC Bournemouth captain Miles Addison will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.
The 24-year-old has been out of action since the Cherries' 2-2 draw with Bury in November.
Addison will undergo an operation on Friday, which will keep him out of action for at least eight weeks.
"I have been out for twelve weeks but the uncertainty around it has been the most frustrating bit" said Addison.
"With the boys doing so well on the pitch, it adds a bit of light to it - but for me my own career has been stalled for the past twelve weeks.
"Now I have an operation booked in I have some sort of time frame as to when I will be back fully fit so that is reassuring."
The former Derby County defender previously suffered an injury foot while playing for the Rams.
Addison will have a bone within his tendon removed during the operation later this week.
