Sherborne Town maintained their two-point advantage over Hengrove at the top of the Toolstation Western League Division One table thanks to a 2-1 triumph at Almondsbury UWE.
Jordan Rodgers put the home side into an early lead, but Marc Caines equalised just after the hour mark and Steve Burton won it for Sherborne ten minutes later.
Hengrove kept up their chase with a 3-0 home win over Warminster, Ricky Briggs hitting a first-half brace before Ricky Charlton added a third goal late on.
The title rivals have two matches left each – Hengrove at Portishead on Wednesday and Sherborne at home to Shrewton on Thursday before Saturday’s conclusion as Hengrove host Wellington and Sherborne go to Roman Glass St George.
Third-placed Bradford won 1-0 at Portishead; Corsham, in fourth, triumphed 3-2 at Shrewton; Chard lost 2-1 at Westbury; and Calne beat Shepton Mallet 4-2.
Oldland came from behind to beat Wellington 2-1, Dan Spill quickly cancelling-out Conor Bryant’s early opener before Jordan Richards hit a late winner.
Elmore beat Welton 2-1, Dan Tapp and Tony Radford scoring first-half goals for the hosts bisected by an equaliser from Paul Banks.
The biggest scorers of the day were Cribbs Friends Life, who hammered bottom-of-the-table Devizes 9-0.
Simon Bone led the way with five goals, while Karl Nash hit a hat-trick and Jordan Yeo completed the scoring.
