European and Oriental ceramics, along with metalware including pewter, bronze and brass are the items to be valued this Friday 14th February at the George Kidner free valuation day.

The firm’s specialist will be on hand to offer advice to anyone calling into their Wimborne office from 10am until 1pm and from 2pm until 4pm. In addition to providing free verbal valuations the team can also offer advice about selling at an auction.

Next Friday 21st February the subject changes to paintings and silver, including silver plate and foreign silver. Other topics to be covered by the specialists over the next few weeks include furniture, clocks and jewellery. There is no need to make an appointment to see the specialists, with the exception of the jewellery valuation day taking place on Friday 14th March.

The company’s next fortnightly general sale is to be held on Thursday 20th February at their head office and saleroom in Lymington. This general sale will include furniture, ceramics and glassware.

Viewing is on Wednesday 19th February from 9.30am until 7pm and Thursday 20th February from 9am until the start of the sale at 10.30am. Next month, on Thursday 6th March, a specialist sale of arms, medals, militaria, books and collectors’ items is taking place.
