On and around 2nd May should you come across a small flower arrangement or bouquet on a bench, fence, or tree it will have a card asking you to take it home and enjoy. The card will explain the flowers are part of the National Association Flower Arranging Societies (NAFAS) celebrating national flower arranging day and their Emerald anniversary.
If you love flowers, even if you don’t find a bouquet, come and spend an evening with at Colehill Flower Club. They meet at 7.30pm on the third Monday of the month at Colehill Memorial Hall. Visitors and new members are welcome. The next meeting will be 19 May. For further information contact Julia 07884 203391 or Angela 01202 884341.
