Community Consultation Event: Monday 12th November at The Exchange. There is a great opportunity to see and discuss the latest plans for North Dorset Business Park at Rolls Mill. This site will be the most important economic development in our area for many years and what happens there will affect us all in terms of prosperity of our community. This consultation event gives everyone a chance to comment on the various studies and feasibility work that will form the basis of the planning application for the whole site and to have a say on the proposals before they go through the planning process. At the same time, NDDC is offering a chance to comment on the revised Local Plan. http://news.dorsetforyou.com/2012/10/new-plan-for-north-dorset-consultation/ .

South West Coaches services 7, 15, 109 and 117: If you are a regular user of these services and would like to make any comments regarding the forthcoming cancellations, contact the SturQuest Community Office and let us know so that a co-ordinated local response can be delivered. We are also assisting South West Coaches with a questionnaire aimed at assessing the actual demand for these routes. They have received a lot of feedback about these cancellations and as a result are considering the possibility of running some of these journeys as excursions on a less frequent basis. Copies of the questionnaire can be obtained from the bus driver of these services or from the SturQuest Community Office. Copies of the questionnaire will be available at central points for those villages affected by the cancellations. More info from SturQuest Community Office, 01258 471456 or email team@sturquest.org.uk. Details can also be found on the SturQuest website at www.stur.org.uk.
