A teenager was racially abused, before being punched in the face in Weymouth.

A TEEENAGE boy was racially abused and attacked in Weymouth.

Police are appealing for witnesses after 14-year-old was punched in the face while cycling home at around 3:20pm on Wednesday 11 December.

The incident took place along Knightsdale Road, close to Marsh Road on the Rodwekk Trail.

Police Cosntable Caroline Orchard of Weymouth Police said: "This incident has left the young victim extremely frightened and we are keen to find those responsible.

"The offenders are described as white, aged between 16 and 18, with one wearing a black coat with a hood and patches on it.

"It is also believed they may have been in company with a young girl either riding a pink bicycle or pushing a pink pram."

Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 11:281.
