Tina Arnold from Broadstone has recently celebrated her 20th anniversary with Westover Nissan on Wallisdown Road in Poole.

Having originally applied to be a van driver, Tina started as a trainee administrator when Westover Nissan was based in Corfe Mullen -currently home to Westover Dacia. She is now customer relations, database and marketing supervisor for the Nissan brand, working across the sales and servicing departments. Tina’s role sees her coordinating all of Westover Nissan’s promotional materials, including customer letters, leaflets and mailshots, as well as managing the brand’s database of contacts.

“There are many long-term members of staff here – some who have spent 10 years or more with the Westover Group and a handful of others who, like me, have clocked up two decades with Westover Nissan,” says Tina. “It’s great to have been part of the same strong team for such a long time - we’ve all built up great working relationships over the years and we definitely know what makes each other tick. The time’s flown by so quickly that I’m struggling to believe it’s been that long.”

Having had two sons during her time with Westover Nissan, Tina has been on maternity leave twice. Her first leave of absence started sooner than anticipated, but Tina continued to work from home with full access to Westover Nissan’s database. She was one of the first people within the Westover Group to pilot home working. As part of her role Tina has helped mastermind six moves for Westover Nissan in both Wiltshire and Dorset, helping the brand relocate when the rate of growth meant the dealerships needed to find new locations.

“Tina’s is an amazing asset to the team,” says Mike Boyd, who is both a Westover Group director and operations director for Westover’s four Nissan and Toyota showrooms. “Having experience across different roles, combined with such an in-depth understanding of the Nissan brand and a long-held knowledge of Westover’s business, stands us all in good stead. Tina’s the first port of call for all manner of queries and she’s spread her influence beyond Westover Nissan, with many of her systems and processes introduced to other areas of the Group. Big congratulations to her – and a big thank you from all of us here at Westover Nissan as well.”
