Medals, decorations and all things military are the items being valued this Friday 11th April, at the George Kidner Auctioneers office in Wimborne.

The firm’s specialist will be present to offer advice on everything from swords and edged weapons to antique firearms, uniforms and military collectables. There will be no valuations taking place on Good Friday, as the office will be closed, but on Friday 25th April the topic changes to clocks, furniture and ceramics.

Valuations are free of charge and the office is open from 10am until 1pm and from 2pm until 4pm. There is no need to make an appointment to see the specialists.

The firm will be holding their next fortnightly general sale on Thursday 17th April at their head office and saleroom in Lymington. This general sale will include furniture, ceramics and glassware.

Viewing is on Wednesday from 9.30am until 7pm and Thursday from 9am until the start of the sale at 10.30am. On Thursday 1st May the company is holding a select sale of works of art, ceramics, paintings, furniture, silver and jewellery. Highlights include a Martin Brothers vase.
