WIMBORNE Town were hit with a late goal as the Magpies left Merthyr Town empty handed.

Steve Cuss’ side twice led, before Ryan Prosser headed home in the 94th minutes to secure three points for the Welsh hosts.

“It took a lot of effort getting up here and once we were out on the pitch, we put up a very good performance. We scored twice in the first half and could have had more.”
