WIMBORNE Town go into their Boxing Day clash with Bridwater Town with a big three points on offer – as the Magpies look to end their recent slump.

Steve Cuss’ side have slipped from the playoff places, and with nine points to make up, the Wimborne boss knows his side need to start picking up points.

“We’ve lost three of our last four games, but we are going into the game against Bridgwater after a 12-day break and that could be an advantage for us” explained Cuss.

“We’ve got four games coming up in ten days so it is important we start picking up points.”

The Magpies will be without strike James Stokoe who is suspended and Jamie Davison is still out through injury.

Liam Donachy and Dan Burton could feature in the Magpies squad for the festive clash at Cuthbury.
