Wimborne auctioneers offer advice on silver and paintings

SILVER and paintings are the topics to be valued this Friday, 17th January, at the Wimborne office of George Kidner Auctioneers and Valuers.

The specialist will be available from 10am until 1pm and then again in the afternoon from 2pm to 4pm to offer free advice on oil paintings, watercolours, signed prints and miniatures as well as silver, silver plate and foreign silver.

Next Friday, 24th January, the topic to be covered will be general items including furniture and clocks.

There is no need to make an appointment and the specialists, as well as providing a free verbal valuation, will also offer advice about selling.

The company are holding their next fortnightly general auction on Thursday 23rd January at their head office and saleroom in Lymington. This general sale will include furniture, ceramics and glassware.

Viewing is on Wednesday 22nd January from 9.30am until the later time of 7pm and Thursday 23rd January from 9am until the start of the sale at 10.30am.
