WIMBORNE Minster Church is to be featured on the BBC 1 Antiques Trip programme this Wednesday 23rd January at 4.30pm.

The church was visited last August by James Braxton in his classic car.

During the programmes James and the other presenters travel around the country buying and selling antiques.

They also visit places of interest and tourist attractions and it was during their run from Bournemouth via Jersey and on route to Wokingham, Berkshire that Wimborne Minster was visited.

During the filming James was shown around The Minster by head guide Christine Oliver and around the Chained Library by head librarian Judith Monds.
