FATHER Christmas arrived in style to Wimborne Square on Saturday morning .

His sleigh was a Hall and Woodhouse dray.

And don't worry if you missed him as he will return to his grotto in the Square every Saturday until 21st December.

At the culmination of a day of festive activities the lights were switched on by Macy Wright, 8, a pupil from St John's School, who won the Christmas painting competition.

A collection raised £300 for the Mayor's charities - Wimborne in Bloom, The Gunstone Trust and Dreamboats.
