Poole Town's bid to gain promotion to The Southern Premier League got back on track with a 3-1 win over Winchester.
The Dorset side lost their previous game against Yate Town, but brushed aside the Hampshire team to close in on league leader Hungerford Town.
Michael Walker opened the scoring for the visitors, but the Dolphins' lead was wiped out by an Andrew White equaliser.
Former Winchester player Michael Charles restored Poole's advantage after the break, but the visitors were awarded a penalty to tie up the scores. However, White's attempt was off target.
Poole continued to press and were awarded a penalty of their own. Scott Devlin stepped up and found the net to secure all three points for The Dolphins.
Poole are two points behind Hungerford Town - with four games in hand over their promotion rivals.
