Yarrells pupils take flight

Children in the reception class at Yarrells School in Upton returned from playtime on Tuesday this week to find their classroom had been transformed into an aeroplane as part of their work on transport.

And to make it even more authentic, Mrs Mellery-Pratt, mum to Freddy, an air hostess with British Airways popped in wearing her uniform. She checked in passports and boarding passes as the children prepared to embark on their 2.45pm flight from Yarrells to Paris.

Freddy was the pilot and Aimee was the First Captain. The children took it in turns to be the cabin crew.
