Defensive errors let down Wimborne Town as they slipped to a 3-1 defeat against Yate Town.
The Gloucestershire side are in fine form and the win against the Magpies was their ninth straight victory in The Southern League Division One South and West.
Magpies manager Steve Cuss said: "I was pleased with our attacking play and we passed the ball well.
"But defensively we were disappointing. We gave away sloppy goals and that cost us the game."
Yate wasted no time as Scott Wilson opened the scoring in the first minute of play.
The home side's early lead didn't last long as Jamie Davidson, making his return to the Wimborne side levelled the game after six minutes.
Yate were controlling the game and Mike Bryant struck to restore their advantage on the half-hour mark.
The hosts all but guaranteed the three points nine minutes after the break when Michael Meaker made it 3-1.
Wimborne tried to force their way back into the game, but George Webb and Alex Moth had efforts well saved.
