Two arrested after alleged robbery in Christchurch

Two people have been arrested in Christchurch over an alleged robbery.

TWO men have been arrrested after an alleged robbery in Christchurch.

Officers responded to reports that a local man in his 20s was assaulted and had his mobile phone stolen.

The alleged incident took place between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday 7 December along Hunt Road in the Somerford area.

Detective Constable David Lyons of Bournemouth and Poole CID said: "This incident occurered in broad daylight. It is possible soeone may have witnessed the incident or seen something suspicious."

Two men from Chrsitchurch aged 18 and 21 have been arrestd on suspciion of robbery and have been released on police bail until Januray 2014.
