CALLING all unsigned musicians…
Does your band have what it takes to play at the Isle of Wight Festival 2013? Well, now's your chance  with the launch of a new competition, The Isle of Wight Festival Unsigned.
Over the past 12 years, the festival has seen performances from some of the biggest acts in the world, including: The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Kasabian, Kings of Leon, Jay-Z, The Strokes, The Who, David Bowie and Coldplay. The Isle Of Wight Festival is famed for being a stage for legendary artists of the past, present and future and now it's your turn to be part of the historic line up.
The iconic festival is now giving not one, but six lucky unsigned artists from the UK & Ireland the chance to perform at this year's event on the following stages; Main Stage, Big Top, The Bandstand, Life's A Beach, Cabaret Club and The Hipshaker Lounge.

John Giddings, festival promoter, says: "We are first and foremost a music festival. A celebration of music from the past, present and future and it's great to give up and coming musicians an opportunity to showcase in front of the Isle of Wight Festival audience. Wouldn't it be great for one of them to headline one day!"
Shaping up to be one of the year's most exciting events, the Isle of Wight Festival has something for everyone.  With headline performances from three of the biggest names in music, The Stone Roses (UK Festival exclusive), The Killers and Bon Jovi, it's a weekend not to be missed.
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place 13th – 16th June at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight.
